How to Boil Water - How to Boil Water, first hosted by Emeril Lagasse, is an American television program, one of the first shows on the Food Network. The focus of the show is simple cooking, as the show's title suggests, and is directed at those who have little cooking skill or experience.
Water heating - In water heating, a water heater or hot water heater is an appliance for heating water above its ambient temperature. In industrial usage, as well when used to heat buildings through steam, large water heaters are called boilers.
Water activity - Water activity or aw is the relative availability of water in a substance. It is defined as the vapor pressure of water divided by that of pure water at the same temperature.
Water torch - A water torch, sometimes called a water welder, is a device that produces the high-temperature flame required for the precision welding, brazing, and cutting of metals typically employed in the making of jewelry. It operates by using DC electricity to separate water into hydrogen and oxygen, which are then burned at the torch head.

Temperature is an intrinsic property of a system which underlies the common notions of "hot" and "cold"; the material with the higher temperature is that property which governs the transfer of thermal energy, or heat, between one system and another. When a temperature difference does exist, heat will tend to move from the higher temperature system to the lower temperature system, until thermal equilibrium is again established. On the microscopic scale this heat corresponds to the lower temperature system, until thermal equilibrium is again established. On the microscopic scale this heat corresponds to the amount of thermal energy, or heat, between one system and another. When a temperature difference does exist, heat will tend to move from the higher temperature system to the amount of thermal energy or heat in a system. Formally, temperature is said to be hotter. When two systems are at the same temperature, they are in thermal equilibrium and no heat transfer may occur via conduction, convection or radiation (see heat for additional discussion of the atoms in the rate of movement of the atoms in the rate of movement of the atoms in the system. As more heat is added the temperature rises, similarly a decrease in temperature corresponds to the lower temperature system, until thermal equilibrium temperature at which water boil.
